Synopsis
Film commissioned by the Dutch tobacco agency about the tobacco harvest in Deli on Sumatra, in the Dutch East Indies. In addition to the production of tobacco, we also see workers from various ethnic populations who have been moved to Sumatra by the tobacco industry, as well as the daily life of the Western managers and staff.
