Synopsis
Stefan is 12 years old, spastically paralyzed and has moved to a new town with his mother. His illness is met with hostility and rejection by the children in the neighborhood. Stefan dreams of an operation to make him well, but when he learns after thorough examinations that the operation is hopeless, he grabs an electric wheelchair to escape from the hospital.
