Ash Mayfair was born in Vietnam and educated in the UK and the US, receiving an MFA in filmmaking at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her short films include The Silver Man (11), Sam (11), Heart of a Doll (11), Grasshopper (12), and Lupo (16). The Third Wife (18) is her debut feature.
