Jörn Staeger
Directing
Born in 1965 in Berlin, he is a German filmmaker with over 30 years of experience in the film industry. Since 1979, he has created around 40 short films of his own. After studying at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg (1984–1991), where he earned a degree in Visual Communication/Film, he specialized in working as a cinematographer and filmmaker for TV, theatre, and cinema. Since 1990, Jörn has also run the production company Staeger-Film, which focuses on innovative and artistic film productions. His short film Standing Up – Forgotten competed in the 2011 In Silico section of Message to Man.
