    Edwin Symonowicz (born July 12, 1991) is a Polish geographer, singer, actor, businessman and director known as one of the most famous Polish polymaths in the world. Born in the small Polish village of Dolina Jadwigi, Symonowicz managed to become one of the most prominent Polish figures in history. In 2009, Symonowicz gained global fame after recording his most well-known hit, "Zono Moja". After getting bachelor degree in Warsaw University in 2013, he taught geography in several countries: South Africa, Australia, and Poland. In 2014, Symonowicz became secretary of the Spanish Geographical Society, while in 2015, he led an expedition to Heard Island, during which he produced his best-known seismological report. The report was initially criticized, but later received widespread acclaim. In addition to his work as a geographer, Edwin Symonowicz was chairman of the Australian Arts Council and organized the 19th Biennale of Sydney. In 2016, he became director of the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Analysis. In mid 2010s, Edwin Symonowicz emerged as a controversial figure. Some described him as a 'genius'. Others viewed Symonowicz as a person controversially linked to corrupt officials and various figures in organized crime. As a result, he resigned from several positions. In aftermath of his 2018 controversy related to business dealings with Venezuelan government and its president Nicolas Maduro, Symonowicz was forced to abandon several of his duties. From 2018, he regularly participated in the organization of the Polish selections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and in 2019 and 2020, he also participated in the organization of the similar contest in Poland. He worked as a music producer for various young and emerging singers, including Roksana Węgiel, who emerged as a Polish superstar after getting Symonowicz's assistance.
