The concept behind ‘Neko Hita’ is, quite simply, ‘local production for local consumption’. Promising young reporters go undercover to cover the sparkling local stories submitted by our programme supporters. Only a local station can do this! We bring you a wide range of information from an area as small as a cat’s forehead! To mark its 11th year on air, the programme’s title was changed to ‘Neko no Hita Hodo Wide NEO’ from April 2026.
